The Magician bags over $18 million at WSOP 2012

  

ANTONIO ESFANDIAR took the first place in the 'The Big

 One for One Drop Champion' charity event at the Rio in  Las

 Vegas.The entrance fee of one million dollars made this the 

biggest poker game in history. 48 players stumped up 

the cash and played  for a share in history and a prize pool of $42,666,672.

 The final table have everything, classic play, bad beats to mega bluffs. 

Antonio pushed The Poker Brat to the limit bluffing him off a lagre pot by three betting

 3.35 million into the pot. Hellmuth folded  face up, and Esfandiari showed

Hellmuth not impressed, muttered 'luck box' remembering there is history between these two 

players.

 Esfandiari had the chip lead going into heads-up play covering Brit Sam Trickett by 2.5/1. Trickett remained
 cool and calm through the entire game trading chip leader with Esfandiari all day. On the 85th hand of the
 final table all of the chips went into the pot.
Esfandiari  raised to 1.8 million, Trickett called. The flop came down
Trictett checked raised.
 Esfandiari raised all in and was called. Trickett tabled the    flush draw putting 36 million at risk as 
he was covered by Esfandiari. Esfandiari showed the for trip 5's.The turn was insignificant. The 
dealer was about to turn the most expensive river card in poker history.  Trickett would take the pot if 
any diamond came. The dealer burned the turned the .  Esfandiari claimed the richest prize in the 
history of tournament poker. His best trick ever turning $1,000,000 into a whopping $18,346,673
Spraking afterwards he said 'I told everyone I was going to win this. I was upset about finishing third earlier...
